This site is operated by TBTUNED LTD ("TB Tuned", "we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales. We are the data controller for personal data processed through tbtuned.com and our customer portal.

2. What data we collect

Contact details — name, email, phone (when you submit our contact form or place a file order).
Vehicle & ECU data — VIN, ECU file, vehicle make/model/registration (when you submit files via our portal).
Account data — login email, hashed password, order history (portal users).
Technical data — IP address, browser type, device info, referring URL, basic page-view analytics.
Communications — messages sent to us via WhatsApp, email, or our AI assistant (used to improve service).

3. How we use your data

To deliver tuning files and respond to support requests (legitimate interest & contract).
To operate accounts and process payments (contract).
To improve our website and services (legitimate interest).
To send service-related emails and, with consent, marketing updates.
To comply with legal and tax obligations.

4. Legal basis (UK GDPR)

We rely on contract performance, legitimate interest, legal obligation, and (for marketing/cookies) consent.

5. Sharing your data

We never sell your data. We share it only with trusted processors who help us run the business — payment providers, hosting/cloud providers, email and analytics tools — all under contract and UK GDPR-compliant agreements. We may disclose data if legally required.

6. Data retention

We retain customer files and order data for up to 7 years to comply with UK accounting and warranty obligations. Marketing data is held until you unsubscribe. Anonymised analytics may be kept indefinitely.

8. Security

We use HTTPS, encrypted storage, access controls, and reputable cloud infrastructure to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, but we work hard to keep yours safe.

9. International transfers

Some of our processors may transfer data outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.
